Review: Elago Design P2 iPad Stand
Posted: March 31, 2011 Filed under: Gadgets | Tags: Elago Design, iPad, P2, Review Leave a comment »I’ve been putting on hold for a long time but I finally purchased a stand for my iPad.
After two weeks of strictly using iPad in Europe, I gained confidence and comfortability to use iPad in greater capability. In order to do so, I decided to purchased a stand.
I could look around for some options but I went straight to amazon.com and searched elago iPad stand. My first ever encounter of elago design was 3 years ago, when I had an iPhone 3G. I loved their simple and clean full case and snap-ons that I always wish them to make cases for various android phones. P2 stand released with the hefty price tag of $49.99 but now it’s on sale(?) for $29.99! I did not need another second to think about it. I clicked 1-click purchase and bam! it is here now.
It is very small, light, and simple. Following Apple’s deisng, it is a silver aluminum with two rubber paddings where iPad sits on the stand. I love how it looks and how small it is. I wish i can change view angles. It is fine when I sit on my desk and looking down but it is not perfect when my eye level is lower than the iPad.

Simple black box with the sticker.

With my iPad and bluetooth keyboard
Of course I’m blogging this with iPad =)
I strongly recommend to anyone who wants a simple stands to use it at home.

My thoughts about Amazon’s cloud service for music
Posted: March 29, 2011 Filed under: Gadgets, Music | Tags: Amazon, clouds, Music, streaming 1 Comment »I love the idea and how amazon started cloud service before anyone else but it failed to achieve In many ways.
First, how does it work?
It let’s you upload your own music, movies, and etc. to cloud and let you stream through your Android app or computer’s web browsers.
It sounds pretty good, isn’t it? But why is it a failure to be a great service?
1. It won’t let you find new music and purchase them, it only plays music you already own.
2. What about iOS, BlackBerry, and other devices??
I’ll give it a go for now but I’ll wait and see how Google or Apple will launch better service. Oh maybe and hopefully Amazon will improve it’s service next few days/weeks.

- Pretty old airport
- Many constructions were going on
- I met probably the most friendly custom agent so far
- Flying via American Airline wasn’t bad as I thought it would be
- Plane was pretty old =(
- Attendance was more polite and better than domestic flights
- AA served two meals: omelet for breakfast/lunch and personal sized pizza for dinner
- Seats were quite small but thank God for the exit row seat!
- I took mini taxi (or mini cab) to friend’s place. Guess what the car was? BMW 745!
- Everything is so expensive here. Pretty much double compared to US. Renting a place is insanely high.
- Oh, I exchanged 200 USD for 110 GBP. I feel like I got robbed by the bank =(
You never change
Posted: March 3, 2011 Filed under: to be like Jesus Leave a comment »I was snowboarding at Wilmot in Wisconsin yesterday. I finally picking it up again after 7 years of not boarding.
As I was entering into Wilmot Ski resort, I noticed the sign saying “Celebrating 70 years” and boasting how they changed to current. As I’m snowboarding, I realized how my mind is bombed by the idea of bring changes in every possible ways. This semester we’ve been talking about innovation and how we need to think and change the industry. Spiritually my mind is boggled with how to bring revival, how to change the Christian culture in the states. At the top of the slope God spoke to me softly how He never changes. He is same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. He’s always same. There’s a saying in Korean “In 10 years even mountains and rivers change.” Even my heart changes, my mind changes, and all the world around changes but our God never changes. His love never changes. His truth never changes.
We are talking about same love, same passion, same mercy, and same glory. If all things are created in Him and everything is in His hands, what is there to worry?
I need to get closer to Him once again. Forgetting it all and trusting in Him.
I think I saw the light yesterday.

Light of the World

I was tired, nothing else to see, and plus my mother wasn’t too happy about complete darkness. Little bit after we saw a light shining from distant house. It was far away that it didn’t really matter to driving condition but it was bright enough to give warmth and hope to my mother and me. As I listening to my mother how glad she was to see the light, I felt Jesus speaking to me.
After few days spending time in Las Vegas, I feel many people are lost in the darkness blowing away there life, time, money, and many other things in this place. Yeah of course I was able to see people who enjoy their vacations and people trying to release their stress after a long day of conventions and meetings but I saw enough people stressing out losing their money and keep pouring more into the bottomless pit trying to recover their losses. My heart became heavy and wanted to leave this place asap.
Be a light that can bring warmth to His people until He comes back to shine bright all over the world like the sun. I do not know how to shine bright in front of people who are visiting and passing through this city but I will be a small light through my prayer. All who are in the darkness remember this. There is always someone who’s praying over you in times of trouble, weary, and situations of no hope to restore hope, joy, and loving relationship with Jesus Christ.
