Location

Neighborhood: South Loop
601 S. Wabash Avenue
(between Harrison St & Balbo Ave)
Chicago, IL 60605

This is my review from Yelp.com

It is right by my school (Columbia College) and have fantastic deal on weekdays between 4-7 pm. Half price rolls!

Unfortunately, that is all you are going to get.
I ordered spicy tuna roll and soft-shell crab roll and they were awful.
Rice is way too sticky and tasteless, spicy roll wasn’t spicy at all, sauce on soft-shell crab was too blend… what a awful sushi experience I had!

I didn’t expect much since it was a thai restaurant but it was worse than I expected. Maybe my opinion about this restaurant will change if i try Thai food. However, as of now I won’t go back what so ever.

America’s Worst French Fries

I was reading yahoo.com’s America’s Worst French Fries and became little bit saddened… I loved two of them. I do not care about calories, but oh my.. look at how much sodium are in them!!!

Worst Curly Fries

Arby’s Curly Fries (Large)
640 calories
34 g fat (5 g saturated, 0 g trans)
1,460 mg sodium

Arby’s is famous for its curly fries—too bad they’re overloaded with fat, calories and sodium. When one side dish accounts for nearly three-quarters of your daily allotment of salt, you know there’s a problem. As fun as these curli-Qs are, stick to the Homefry variety at Arby’s—downsizing to a small Curly Fries will still leave you with a 410-calorie side, which is more than many of Arby’s sandwiches!”

Worst Fries for Your Blood Pressure

Dairy Queen Chili Cheese Fries
1,240 calories
71 g fat (28 g saturated, 0.5 g trans)
2,550 milligrams sodium

This one’s a no-brainer: Chili, cheese, fried potatoes. But even a savvy eater couldn’t possibly anticipate how bad these 3 ingredients could be when combined by one heavy-handed fast-food company. There’s as much sodium in this side dish as you’ll find in 15 strips of bacon. Stick with classic ketchup and recapture nearly a day’s worth of sodium and 930 calories.”

My review from Yelp.com

My friend wanted get some Indian food so I searched where would be a good place to go. After saw good ratings we decided to give it a go.

So first of all, it’s a buffet place with few options.
Food taste? nothing exceptionally great. Food were kind of cold side rather than warm. Serivce? I asked a server few questions and didn’t get any answers from them.

I don’t know if i picked wrong day to visit or not it wasn’t that good experience at all.

My review from Yelp.com

It was my first visit and it was a lot better than I thought.

It seemed very small from the outside, i was surprised by the size and good food smell as I walked into the place.
I tried Spring Rolls, Pad Thai, and Crazy Noodle. Spring rolls weren’t that good at all especially the sauce but Pad Thai and Crazy Noodle were great.

Service wasn’t so good but the taste of food is what’s important. It’s not a place to expect exceptional service. It’s just a local place where I can get good thai noodles. I’m happy with what I got and extra point for close to my place haha.

My review from Yelp.com

I love Chinese food and this place fulfills my hunger and taste.

It’s a small place right before entering into downtown Highland Park right by Jimmy John’s and a cleaner. This place have only 3 tables and every time I go there seems empty, but have many take out orders. This place is run by a family who are very friendly and good cooks. Don’t judge the place by how it looks, it doesn’t look any nice place, very small, and actually doesn’t really looks like a restaurant, but they offer one of the best Chinese you can get.

Probably the best egg rolls, crab rangoons, orange chicken, and governor’s chicken you can get in Chicago land area.
They have special lunch manu daily. For $7, you get great portion of main dish, fried rice, and an egg roll. Even dinner menu most of them doesn’t go more than $10.

This is definitely my favorite Chinese take-out place.
